For this discussion post, I chose to examine Greg’s case for ADHD diagnosis.
What symptoms of ADHD does your patient present with?
The presence of Attention Deficit could be determined through interrogation of subjective and objective data. The symptoms portrayed by the patient consistent with the ADHD diagnosis include hyperactivity, memory problems, confusion, poor concentration, and inability to sit still, especially in calm environments and being easily distracted. The patient also has a history of ADHD and has previously been diagnosed with the condition (Ronald et al., 2021). The symptoms of ADHD could be carried into adulthood if the patient was diagnosed with the condition in their childhood. ….
