SOLUTION 

The article “Development process of an evidence-based exercise program for post-operative colorectal cancer patients” analyses the importance of exercise on cancer patients, especially on colorectal cancer patients soon after surgery. I chose this article, due to the fact that I have engaged some of my patients who are status post colectomy on some form of bed exercises, and it has enhanced their recovery process. A research team developed a systematic 10 steps process which includes, literature search, understanding patient characteristics, first expert group discussion, development of the first draft exercise program, pretest, focus group interview, second expert group discussion, randomized controlled trial, finalizing the evidence-based exercise program.
