In the previous discussion assignments, I selected the issue of pressure ulcers. It is important to acknowledge that pressure ulcers (PUs) are significant issues that affect how patients obtain quality care services. When exploring the issue of pressure ulcers, it is important to acknowledge that evidence is presented through qualitative research in terms of understanding more about the issue (Koepp et al., 2020). The existing qualitative research is that through the use of frequent repositioning between 3 to 5 hours, it is possible to reduce the buildup of uneven pressure on the board surface of a patient.
