Among the theories that I found most valuable this week are the peaceful end-of-life model (PELT) and Pender’s health promotion approach. PELT directs care services necessary for terminally-ill patients while enhancing nursing care through the combination of dimensions that are vital to dying in unison whole. The theory synthesizes the standards of a peaceful end of life in a bid to develop a conceptual structure of major dynamics attached to a peaceful ending of life (Gott et al., 2019).
