SOLUTION 

Lifespan Development has been a really exciting course over the last eight weeks. There were times of reflection and insight, of actual connection with the content, and of “holy cow, why does my virtual kid behave better than my real children yet my parenting style is the exact same?!” I felt prepared for the session’s My Virtual Life project, in which we had to raise a kid, since I had already done it before. Because raising children is my actual life, I knew I could handle it. As we progressed through early and early adulthood, we shifted roles and took on the persona of the digital avatar…….

In closing, this class has given me additional tools to put in my “toolbox for life.” There are many intellectual theories that I will take with me, & that will guide me in decision-making as I advance my way through life. I can wholeheartedly say that I enjoyed this class, its structure, & the content.
